Carrie Underwood’s albums sell a lot, and Madonna is still topping the charts (personal opinions aside, she’s still going strong), but Britney Spears, despite all the negative press she’s been receiving, still managed to top the charts with her latest CD, “Blackout.”

Tuesday, the same day Blackout was released, 124,000 copies of the record sold, giving Britney a 5th number one album.

This is in spite of herself, because Britney refused radio shows, tv interviews, team members quitting, skipped auditions, and friends and family asking that the album be boycotted.
