What does Britney Spears seem to go through too quickly for words? Court appearances? Jails? Men? How about lawyers? Another set of lawyers, Trope and Trope, want to quit. An attorney from the firm, Tara Scott, wrote, “There has been a breakdown in communications between Britney and Trope and Trope making further representation of her interests impossible.” They can’t just up and leave, they have to ask permission of the court. I’m sure they want to, though, they’ve had a hard time with Britney (and I’m sure she hasn’t made it any easier).

And she started the new year, so well, too (no partying, just a quiet celebration at home with her boys - with whom she has visitation rights thanks to Trope and Trope). But then, where would we be without a Britney scandal? She is, however, waiting to have her trial for her misdemeanor driving charges, which should be January 25, 2008.
