Britney Spears has done her duty and gone ahead and done her civic duty, and turned herself in!

Brit’s now been officially photographed and finger-printed. And though she wore her horribly ugly and unflattering pink wig (first seen in November of 2006) both before and after the mugshot, she took it off for the mugshot. Good call.

For those who want to know, Britney was officially booked as “1020419, brown hair, brown eyes.” There will be no mugshot released however, unlike in the case of Lindsay Lohan, because the it’s against Los Angeles Police Department policy.

The popstar was in, photographed, fingerprinted, and out in only 45 minutes. Then she was back in the wig and, presumably, headed on to bigger and better things. Like Taco Bell.
