Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has been given further conservatorship over her finances and her estate. Britney’s 30-year-old brother, Bryan Spears, has been named a co-conservator. Bryan’s attorney said, “Ms. Spears’ family, friends and members of her household have been paying for her basic necessities including medicine, food and other day-to-day expenses.”
I bet they have. With her money. Does that count as paying for it? Sure, but it’s a rather important detail, that has probably been left out - why would they pay with their money when they’re in charge of Britney’s finances and she has loads of it? Actually, according to court papers, her trust funds are used to pay for all of it. Very virtuous.
Jamie is to remain as conservator of Britney’s estate through March 10. That sounds really really bad to me. What do you think?
