Evidently, Britney Spears has finally made one smart move this month, filing a restraining order against Adnan Ghalib. It’s been said by two paparazzi that Britney’s longtime friend, Sam Lutfi, showed it to them while Britney shared some champagne with them (they were asked to leave their cameras behind). The restraining order was filed because they want him out of Britney’s life. I’m really hoping this is true, guys, because he’s bad news.

Adnan says he hasn’t talked to Britney since Friday, but not because of a restraining order, “The reason being, that I had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.”

Unfortunately, the police department aren’t aware of any such restraining orders, but even if it’s not true yet, I hope it becomes true soon. And I really hope Britney isn’t like a girl I once knew. She had a restraining order against her boyfriend (because he beat her up), but they still went on dates and saw one another all the time. I still don’t get it.
