Acording to Page Six, the reason for the break-up of Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy right before/after they’re marriage is: Eddie Murphy. There’s no, “It’s not you, it’s me,” on this one. Instead, Tracey’s pointing the finger right at Eddie saying he became bossy, pushy, demanding and insisted his mother accompany them on their honeymoon.

A friend of Tracey’s said, “She was happy to sign a prenup - she has her own money. She was very accomodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared.”

And they want to stay friends? Somehow, I don’t see that happening.
