On Tuesday, a very tearful Ellen Degeneres told a heartbreaking story about how she gave a dog that she adopted to her hairdresser and the hairdresser’s daughters. This was in violation of the contract that she signed with “Mutts and Moms”, and the agency went to the hairdresser’s house and took the dog away.

I think I’m taking what could be an unpopular stand here, but in all reality, Ellen should have called the company and told them that it wasn’t working out with her cats. She signed the contract - she should have known what she was signing.

Several people watching Ellen’s show Tuesday and Wednesday called or emailed Mutts and Moms, threatening them and sending hate mail. Ellen went about this the wrong way. In her show on Tuesday she said around tears, “And it’s all my fault!” You’re right.

She didn’t tape today’s episode yesterday because “It’s been a rough week.” Hah.
