Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery quietly eloped in New York’s City Hall last Friday. Similar to the Matt Damon wedding two years ago, they eloped privately with only two witnesses: New York’s Mayor Bloomberg and Deputy Mayor Patti Harris. She didn’t even have to wait in line for the ceremony. Ellen’s dad, Joseph Pompeo says that he is very happy for her, “She just didn’t want a big thing.”

Evidently, the couple didn’t go too far away for the honeymoon. They strolled around the city and went to a Knicks game at the Garden. Simple and sweet, I guess.
