“They’ve called me a whore, a gold digger, a liar… the most unbelievably hurtful things,” says Heather Mills, soon to be ex-wife of Paul McCartney, about the British Press.

The same press that once applauded her for her acts of charity is now against her. The British police approached her to tell her she’s had death threats and needs to be careful. “That means my daughter’s in danger,” explains Heather, “Because she’s with me all the time.”

The realization that her daughter was in danger made her consider suicide, knowing that if something happened to her, Paul would take their daughter and she would be safe.
