Despite the less-than-enthusiastic reception made by Heidi Montag’s first music video, which was filmed by boyfriend and manager, Spencer Pratt, there’s going to be a second one. And although Spencer plans to finance his own “organic” version on their “shoestring budget” (in comparison to what? Do you know what a shoestring budget is??!), he’s handing the reins over to Paul Allen.

That means, that although the video itself won’t be horrific, Heidi’s singing will still be around to make us want to cry. Or laugh. Take your pick.

Oh, and if you want to keep laughing, listen to what Spencer says about Valentine’s Day. The couple spent the weekend in Borgota in A.C. (wait, I thought they were on a shoestring budget! Arg) and then went to a steak dinner, a Matchbox 20 concert and then had a couple’s massage. (How shoestring budget of them. Sorry, can’t get over the ridiculousness.)

And then Spencer said, “How do we keep romance alive? Our lives are romantic all day long. With us, it’s 24/7, trying to keep each other happy. This is just another weekend to us. Every day is Valentine’s Day in our relationship.”

Gag me with a spoon. Besides, in my experience, if you have to say that, it’s not true and you are treading rocky ground. Rocky ground indeed.
