Long-time late-night television show rivals Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel are appearing as guests on one another’s shows. With the Writer’s Strike preventing them from having “real” guests on their show (the picket line won’t let others cross), it will fill a slot for guest stars.
Yesterday (Sunday) morning, Jimmy said, “If Jay and I can come together and guest on each other’s shows, surely there is hope for peace in the Middle East.”
Jay agreed and seems to be looking forward to the whole thing, saying, “It will be fun to discuss who’s a good guest, who’s a difficult guest and everything else that comes with sitting behind these desks.”
I’m actually looking forward to this interesting show, which will air Thursday, January 10.
