As most of you probably know by now, Lindsay Lohan posed for pictures après Marilyn Monroe’s “The Last Sitting” for the New Yorker. Unfortunately, Lindsay is no Marilyn. Bert Stern, who shot the photos of both Marilyn and Lindsay, said he saw something in Lindsay, but I think something must have been in his eye.

I don’t think that, less than a year out of rehab, posing naked on the cover of any magazine is going to do any favors for Lindsay, quite the opposite. Marilyn did the photos in a sexy in a way that was almost classy. Lindsay’s reproduction of the photos leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Here’s the thing: Lindsay Lohan makes a stick look fat. She doesn’t have the curves Marilyn Monroe had to pull off sexy and naked. She has the “please don’t take off your shirt again” look that Keira Knightley has going on - and no one wants to see that.
