Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are the new proud parents of a new baby girl. I’m kinda disappointed, I was definitely expecting for them to have a boy. I mean, the blue-themed baby shower, Joel’s clothing designs (for baby) about which he said he’d like to wear them to match his child. That all said, “boy” to me. Oh well.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born yesterday at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and weighs 6lbs 7 oz.  I guess her name isn’t too horrible… it’s better than several celebrity baby names, really.

Anyway, congratulations Nicole and Joel!
