World takeovers are the dreams of a guy I knew in college - he had a crush on my roommate, actually - and it seems that that could be Paris Hilton’s goal for the new year. That could explain her hitting up several clubs in one night, her increased pedaling of her products, and her all-around bizarre behavior. I mean, if you were essentially cut off from your grandfather’s billion dollar fortune, you’d do what you could to make up for it, now wouldn’t  you?

The thing Paris has that the guy I knew doesn’t is that people know who she is. When someone says the name “Paris Hilton” they tend to have an opinion, and they might even like her. They might wear one of her perfumes, or boycott all of her movies. That kind of fame and popularity is useful for someone who wants to make it big.

Her grandfather wasn’t exactly impressed by her social antics, and I think that she wants to carve out a career for herself - maybe show him, others and hopefully herself that she can do it. She claims, “It makes me angry because people don’t know the real me, and I’m a very hard worker.”

Personally, I have a hard time believing that, but she goes on to say, “I travel around the world constantly promoting my projects and endorsing projects. ” Parties, too are means of endorsing her products, and she gets paid to go to them. Do you think she also gets paid to look like an idiot? 

Guess what the really original thing she wants to do is…. think about it… got it? She wants to start a charity: The Paris Hilton Foundation. Wait a second, that’s not original at all!
