Brandon Routh, who played Clark Kent in Superman Returns, married his longtime girlfriend, Courtney Ford, this weekend. The couple met four years ago during Courtney’s brother’s wedding rehearsal, and Courtney says Brandon, who was the bartender, “Met my whole family the day he met me.”

The couple married in the breathtakingly beautiful Santa Barbara’s El Capitan Ranch on Saturday, November 24, 2007.

And what does this Man of Steel say about his bride? “Courtney is my own personal kryptonite. She brings me to my knees.” I’m not sure that’s a good thing, but I’m sure he meant it to be.
