Victoria Beckham announced the reason for the Spice Girls calling it quits earlier this weekend. It turns out that she was the reason - she realized that music isn’t her calling (or is no longer her calling) and wants to stick with fashion. The real reason she decided to don the Posh Spice Spice Girls costume one last time was for her boys: she wanted them to see that “mummy was a pop star once.” Basically, she wanted them to understand that daddy might be cool, but mummy’s pretty frickin’ awesome, too.

Victoria said, “I like to think that it was all good at the time, but I’ll look at the pictures and think, ‘My God, look at all the bloody make-up’ or ‘Look at that hair.’ So I’ll cringe a little bit. I realize that’s what made me who I am now. I’m proud of that.”

Truly, Victoria will do great in the fashion industry - she really is a true fashionista.
